The camper is mechanically sound and I've spent a lot to ensure that's the case. Majority of parts are from Brickwerks and are OEM or comparable manufacturer.
I've done a few trips around the country but she's not had a hard life with me!
The bodywork will need some attention. Drivers side cab step is rusted through (although this is not part of the MOT so wasn't a fail last time).
There is rust across the body work with one or two places in need of more urgent attention ahead of MOT.
The reputable guys who've done my bodywork repairs (quoted £2500 to replace all lower bodywork with Schofield panels including welding and spray).
My mechanic (another VW specialist) believes that this is a good camper with a decent engine and has been happy to maintain, service and repair the van since November 2023.
If the bodywork was better, I'd be looking for a higher price but I'm selling her as she is and she can be run between now and MOT time (March 2026) without any problems.
Unlike some campers at double the price, you can see the issues here and they've not been filled in and blown over. It's an honest van.
Selling for what I bought her for. However, you'll have the benefit of a regularly serviced engine and replacement parts which have cost me a fair amount.
The camper has lived all over the country and has definitely been on travels over to Europe and I'm sure has some more stories left to tell.
Please contact me for more information, feel free to use the DVLA website to look at previous MOT's and remember that she is 36 years old!
