We are reluctantly selling our beloved Doris. Over the years, she has taken us on countless adventures across the UK and into Europe, and we’ve made memories we’ll cherish forever. Doris has had four previous owners, all of whom have looked after her as diligently as we have.

Doris has been well-maintained and all necessary work has been carried out promptly, so she’s in fantastic mechanical condition. Work over recent years include: a new clutch and slave cylinder, gear linkage, new fuel tank and E10 fuel lines, brakes, water pump, shock absorbers, and more.

There is some age-related wear and tear, including some tears in the back seat fabric. We’ve purchased custom seat covers for the front seats from Cornish Campers, and everything else remains original and in exceptional condition for its age. There are a few patches of rust around the wheel arches and some rear seams, which we’ve kept on top of as best we can. There is also a relatively new chip in the windscreen, which was noted during this year’s MOT. The pop-up roof is in full working order.

• Custom-made Orla Kiely curtains for all windows, including those in the roof.

We’ve had so many wonderful memories with Doris, but sadly, we no longer have the time to give her the attention she deserves and to take her on the adventures she’s meant for.
