I have looked after this van for 25 years and our family has had much enjoyment from it. The vehicle is in excellent condition for its age, it is totally reliable and drives really well. It has been regularly serviced and maintained by a VW specialist garage. A service history together with receipts for work done are available.
A new 1600 engine was fitted shortly before I bought it. In 2012 the bodywork was fully restored and resprayed in the original colour scheme. Some minor areas of rust have reappeared since then but nothing that can’t be easily dealt with. The mileage is 50,000. A full engine service and safety check was carried out in March 2023 and it has seen little use since then.
The interior is largely original and in fairly good condition. It has a gas cooker, sink, a ¾ rock and roll bed, pop-top roof, twin hammock beds, rear seat belts, curtains and leisure battery. Extras include a Fiamma 2-bike carrier, a front roof rack, and a Just Kampers drive away awning. Loads of other camping equipment included in the sale price if wanted. This van is ideally suited for family use and is ready to go.
The van is registered as a historic vehicle and is therefore exempt from tax, MOT and the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ). I am based in Queens Park, London NW6. Please no dealers or time wasters.
