1991 Volkswagen westfalia california t25 - 1.6 tdi

MOT until AUG 2025, original paperwork, most if not all service history, many many receipts. She's at just under 270k Kilometers. Engine was fully reconditioned 40k ago, at 232230.

She is mechanically superb, starts on the button every time. Original interior is used but in great condition, the velour is practically spotless. Body and paint work is sound but not perfect. There is rust but nothing urgent. The biggest issue is some windows leak. Footwells have been done at some point before we bought her and are solid despite some surface rust, and the original seals are good across the van.

10 Kilometers ago:

Full service, all new fluids filters and new plugs.
New injector pipes

6000 Kilometers ago:

Reconditioned gearbox, including brand new internal shift rod and gear linkages 2km ago.
Full brake overhaul, including splash plates.
New clutch kit (plates, release bearing, rear main oil seal, spiggot brush), and slave cylinder.
New injector pipes.
New fuel tank and upgraded nylon diesel lines.
New oil, air and diesel filters.
Full fluid change (oil, coolant, steering).
New sump.
New gaskets.
New exhaust.
New Starter motor
New rear shocks inc. bushes.
New radius rods inc. bushes.

Some bad bits:
Speakers work but aren't great sound quality.
Speedometer can dance around. Might be worth replacing but it doesn’t bother us, and sometimes it works perfectly, particularly above 50mph weirdly.
Rear sliding door lock spring broken, meaning there is a nack to opening it. It's easy once you know.
Fridge is original - we've never used it as we bought a JustKamperz coolbox which is way better anyway (can discuss including this in the deal if you wish.)
Dash fans work but can be temperamental.
Central heating doesn’t work (fan works but doesn’t heat.)
Leg bracket for the awning snapped in a gust of wind, we’ve repaired it in a way that works for us, but would replace it if we were renovating it.
