This is a beautiful classic VW Campervan. It is with great sadness we are advertising this camper but she deserved to be enjoyed by a family. Our kids are grown up and we used it once last year.
Genuine Westfalia 1972 Camper. Left hand drive cross over bay. 1700 type 4 engine. Red 9 front beam conversion to convert steering to rack and pinion making for a better drive. Front of the camper is 3 seats, full leather in cream and brown, billet aluminium detailing on controls and a walnut steering wheel.
Imported 10 years ago from California and fully restored, no expense has been spared on this vehicle. Camper has never been welded apart from the battery tray and all panels are original with no rust at all. She has always been stored inside in the UK.
The kitchen units are bespoke oak units with black Corian worktop, 2 drawers and loads of storage, electric sockets in worktop, large capacity fridge, sink with large water tank delivered by electric pump, double gas hob, internal lights and spot lights over the bed for reading. And for wild camping there are solar panels on the roof capable of powering it all.
Full width leather rock and roll bed - storage underneath for bedding. Storage also over bed with bespoke oak shelf. Cath Kidston curtains, bespoke made with magnets in hem to give privacy.
The camper comes with an all weather cover and a blow up drive away awning. It is difficult to get the awning right fit for older vehicles they are all made for the T5 onwards. Vango Idris airbeam with carpet and removable bedroom is the best one we have ever had - and I have had a few over the years.
