Mechanically it has been maintained to a very
high standard. It has been extremely reliable
over the 12 years I have owned the Kombi.

Serviced annually, suspension greased every 3
months.
Kept inside over the winter months.
Upgraded aluminium radiator
Stainless steel exhaust
Stainless steel water pipes
Gearbox replaced with German upgrade
New starter motor, ignition switch, clutch, recent
steering idler replacement.
Front shock absorbers a few years old
Timing belt and water pump kit last year
Front brake pads, Rear brake Shoes and wheel
cylinders in August
Tyres all have good tread
New tailgate and rear bumper
I have loads of paperwork, every MOT certificate
and repair bills.

Unfortunately, the bodywork let's it down.
There are various rust issues,
Wheel Arches, rear corners, sill below sliding
door, front panel, drivers seat tub, roof gutters
and a corner of the roof.

The seat coverings are worn/tired in places.
