VW, TRANSPORTER T25 Camper, 1987, 1915 (cc)

Hi, we’re putting on sale our beloved T25, a 1.9L petrol water-cooled from 1987.
We live abroad now so we have to sell it.... sniff …
Mileage= 165,000 miles with the engine reconditioned around 90,000 miles.


Very well maintained, with a recent MOT (August 2024).
looking for a new owner who can keep enjoying this brilliant van as much as we have and prolong its life.
This type of vehicle could live forever if well maintained.


The van includes:

• 2 x 2 comfy berths (one rock and roller double bed, and one bed in the consortia roof top)
• Lots of storage (including practical homemade storage for shoes and bits and bobs)
• 3-way fridge
• Gas cooker (2 stoves + grill) with safety valve (needs a professional check around every 2-4 years)
• Sink with 60L water tank (I believe the pump needs to be replaced)
• A Portaloo that fits within the fifth seat, or is removable
• Bike rack (3 bikes)

The seats were re-upholstered before we bought the van in 2016.
I believe we are the 3rd owners. The couple who sold it to us bought it from the family of an elderly man who always had it. The van was barely driven between 2010-2015.



Recent works and additions include:

* 4 x new winter tyres mounted in late 2023 (comes also with 2 fairly new summer tyres from 2022).
* CV Boots
* Clutch friction pads
* Rear wheel wishbone
* Various bearings and Bushes (Steering rack / In and Out Tie rod, etc)
* Fuel tank replacement 2022
* Fuel lines + fuel filter upgraded (Ethanol compliant)
* Mech fuel pump replaced by an electronic fuel pump (which makes a tad of clicking sounds at start but works very well and never misses out an engine start)
* Stainless steel exhaust (2021)
* New modern skylight
* Installation of (dismountable) roof racks on the roof canopy (fully waterproof) that enables popping up the roof top whilst surf boards stay on top (would always advise having the heaviest half on the hinged/driver side).
* Installation of a solar panel system with controller + split charge + cables to directly plug in your “thin Lightweight foldables panels” for instance.
Includes 2 additional leisure batteries.
