1973 Bay Window Food Truck

FOOD TRUCK - CONVERTED 1973 VW T2 1700cc (TAX and MOT EXEMPT)

HISTORY

Bought in Cape Town, South Africa 2017 and fully converted into a Food Truck before importing into the UK in 2018. We spent 6 months in Cape Town testing and trading at food markets, festivals, movie and commercial sets and private hires before we decided to import it into the UK. Since it's arrival in the UK it has been stored in a locked garage until recently when it undergone a full service and inspection before it was MOT'd and registered under UK historic registration plate (Black and Silver Plates) in March 2020. The vehicle is now legally registered and insured in the UK ready for new ownership.

REASON FOR SALE

Since our food truck arrived in the UK in 2018 our business model model changed as we were appointed brand ambassadors for a Luxury Hotel and Resort Group and as such we started travelling a lot due to a demand in fulfilling our duties as wellness ambassadors and working with private clients. Sadly we have never had the time nor opportunity to trade from our food truck since it arrived in the UK in 2018. We have been very reluctant to sell our beloved food truck as it holds a lot of memories for us. However, as a result of travelling commitments and plans to move to Spain in January at he end of this year, we have decided it is best to put our food truck to better use and sell it to someone else we hope will benefit, love and appreciate it as might as we do. The vehicle as you can see from the pictures has been has CARED for like our child.

INCLUDED IN THE SALE

2 Fridges - 1 Under Counter Bar Fridge & 1 Top Counter Display Fridge, a Blender Bike, a commercial Blender, lots of Biodegradable plant based juice bottles, bowls and food packaging, straws, cutlery and napkins. The food truck comes with a 60L water tank, sink and tap, electric plugs with power cord for electricity supply and menu boards.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE

Our Branding (ReFuel Concept) is not for sale and will be removed once the sale is agreed with the new owner as our brand can't be transfered.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Our Food Truck is not being sold due to any reason other than it's just not being used by ourselves and we can't just have it standing as we honestly feel it will make someone really happy and apart from it being very eye-catching and people love taking pictures of it (Instagrammable) - it's a perfect addition to any F&B startup or existing business and you will make so many new friends while trading from it as we did.

Ps. We have lots of receipt of all the work that has been done on the vehicle and will show it to interested viewing buyers.
