Beloved VW T2 Bay Camper Van 1976 – A Classic in Need of TLC

Are you ready to bring new life to a cherished classic? Our well-loved sunshine yellow VW T2 camper van, affectionately known as a family member, is seeking a new owner with the passion and care to continue its journey.

This iconic van has been our faithful companion on many adventures for over a decade (we’ve had him since 2010), we've used him as chaperones for weddings, attending festivals and countless beach trips and every time he brings new friends full of compliments.


And, while he may have seen better days, he still has so much potential for the right hands. It's a canvas for someone who loves the nostalgia of the open road and is eager to restore him to its former glory.


He is the 1976 model and is tax and MOT exempt as it’s registered as a historic vehicle.

Lots of work has been done to the underside of the van in the last 10 years, so the bottom is in far better condition than the top is – although difficult for photos to show this!


He starts and runs well once warmed up, but not really used as a camper since just after COVID - but I’ve always made sure to keep main and leisure battery topped up, keep the van moving around and engine running.

He does need some remedial works done pretty soon as it is now starting to show it's age, but viewings are welcome. we've always done our best to keep him water-tight (and covered during winter) and to keep any rust under control but it needs someone with more time / dedication.

van has split charger, leisure battery, modern rock and roll bed, fold out chair and table.

- Clip on awning, with ground sheet and inner section. (Small tear on the section that clips to the van, but could be fixed).

- Stick in Thermal window blinds

- Winter protection cover

- 230v cable

- extra interior panels, spare bits clutch cables, and other bits and pieces all included (including two repair/diagnostic books!)
