Our beloved 1985 VW T25 Westfalia Vanagon GL is now available for a new owner to enjoy. We've owned this van for 11 wonderful years, taking it on countless family adventures, and it’s been an absolute joy. However, as life changes, we’ve decided it’s time to pass this cherished vehicle on to someone who will appreciate it as much as we have.

The van remains in fantastic condition, entirely original inside and out, including the fittings, upholstery, and carpets. The canvas hood was replaced during our ownership and is still in excellent condition, providing a cozy sleeping area for two children in the pop-top. The rock-and-roll bed and cooker, which runs on its own gas supply, are also in perfect working order.

This Westfalia has a fascinating history. Originally purchased new in Germany by an American serviceman, it was shipped to Texas (which explains its fantastic body work and lack of rust), where it remained until his grandson took it back across the Atlantic for a European tour. We were fortunate enough to buy it after that journey, and it has been lovingly maintained by a local VW specialist ever since. This 1985 edition comes with a reliable 2.1L fuel-injected, water-cooled petrol engine and runs and sounds fantastic. It has been regularly serviced and cared for, ensuring it’s ready for many adventures to come.
