Meet Gertie! She has taken us all the way from London to John o' Groats and back again during a month long road trip, and now she's ready for adventures with someone new!
Gertie has a small high top, which allows anyone 5'6 or under to stand straight. Anyone taller will have to bow their head a bit.
She is a bit of a project, as the price suggests. While she runs fine, there is a water leak, so this needs regular monitoring. There is an issue with the gear box, which makes gear 1 stick. There are also patches of rust that need addressing.
We had power steering fitted, which makes her very easy to manoeuvre and park.
Gertie has full working electrics, with leisure battery, split charge relay, solar panel, two 240v plug sockets, three double USB sockets, and one 12v socket.
There's a sink, a grill, two gas hobs and also a portable hob. We will also include our campingaz 904 bottle.
The van came with a very old (vintage) fridge, which we couldn't get working, so it's up to the buyer whether or not they want to take it. We used an electric cooler, which we are happy to include.
