T2 Bay 1977 Australian RHD

Meet 'Matilda’, our pampered VW T2 Bay Australian campervan. She was built in 1977, and brought to the UK in 2009. After a quiet life with an Australian family in Surrey, she lived in our garage in Essex from 2011 until we moved at the end of May. She is an Historic Vehicle, with free road-tax and exempt from MoT (though of course she has one!) She has less than 20,000 kilometres on her odometer, and has never needed welding. She has very comfortable seats, beautifully upholstered matching her rock ‘n’ roll bed, and a superb paint job. Her interior fittings – fridge, gas hob, sink, etc - are original. Following a prolonged period of being laid up, she was fully recomissioned (new tyres, brakes, etc) before our move.
