VW T2 Early Bay Camper Van

Josephine is our gorgeous type 2 early bay. MOT and Tax exempt but has an MOT until February for peace of mind.

We’ve had her since 2021, as a pre-retirement dream but haven’t had the time to make the most of her. Others have benefitted from hiring her. She has had a few spells in garages bringing her up to a reliable, safe, and now more beautiful model.

Sadly, we have to say goodbye as a change in our circumstances forces sale.

We found mechanics who worked well with her, and she has had reliable care after fitting a shiny new twin carburettor and some sliding door tweaks. She is sound mechanically. Starts from cold and feels great to drive now.

Her body work looks great and has just had some areas of rust treated and she looks beautiful. Some bubbling elsewhere. Underside sound. Sliding door is smoother closing since recent work on the runner. Seal around this door could do with replacing. Other doors and window seals were replaced by previous owner as listed. Sleeps two on a stylish full width bed. Reupholstered by previous owner. Current retro curtains lovingly made by my wife (not visible in photos. Boho not the grey tie visible).

Work carried out since purchasing in April 2021 has totalled just over £8,000 but this has made a much-improved difference to her. We purchased her for £17,500.

Rather than listing all the improvements and work she has had carried out, I have put the receipts in the photographs for transparency.

We’ve loved her time with us and finally watched the sun go down from her windows at The End of the Road Festival this year. She was really comfortable and warm ‘n’ cosy. She comes with awning, cubicle tent and raincoat.

ENJOY! She’s awesome and a head turner and fun. Our hirers have enjoyed the attention.
