Vans like this don’t come around for sale everyday. Betty was bought at beginning of lockdown. She has 107,000 genuine miles ( shocking for a 1985 van about to go classic car) It’s a1900 DG petrol 4 speed ,it was long termed owned by a doctor since 1999 and I have loads of paperwork with , mots dating back to 1996 , service history from day dot , service book and receipts , originally supplied by Bromley motor Caravans , 4 different styles of V5 , don’t find this often , I have gone trough it , fridge is cold , hook up is checked , modern usb sockets , modern stereo , new dashboard. OriginaI seats re trimmed to spruce it up , brand new headlights, we’ve replaced the cab steps , long panel , one lower rear qtr ,the engine has a new replacement brosol carburettor , fires first go , exhaust is good , all serviced with correct antifreeze and oil , bayonet type HT leads and Bosch plugs , it drives fantastic , whilst presentable the van has had paintwork , bits touched in and a few bits of seem rash and on back right arch but it is solid underneath, basically a very solid honest van. She sleeps 2 adults and 2 children and the interior is nice and fully functioning with brand new kitchen and flooring. Has new curtains in polka dot. ( couple of curtain rails need adjusting.)With the rock and roll bed we replaced the foam as well so the bed is comfy . New carpet lining which makes it super warm, I have never once felt cold in my van. All in all it’s a jump in go van that you can just jump in and go , it’s got a new leisure battery , new main battery , all brakes checked and replaced as necessary , all tyres are good with no sign of age cracks and are load rated , spare is good , jack and wheel brace present. Inflatable awning ( cost £750 last year) is amazing and goes up in 10- 15 minutes. Also have a genuine T25 high top cover. These will be included if I get the asking price. Please no time wasters this is a 40 year old van but an absolute showstopper for its age and she even has her own handmade table! ????????
