VW T4 TRANSPORTER 888 Special

2003 ~256000 miles Indian blue 2.5l 5 cylinder, 5 speed, SWB

Long nose, electric windows, central locking, cruise as standard.
Same owner last 15+ years, this is like selling a family member. Original owner was security firm - has not been used as a work van.

Mini cooper S half leather front seats, passenger swivel, caravelle style plastic panels in the rear interior,sound proofed/insulated, altro floor.
T5 caravelle rear seats on unwin rails making them removable and able to be repositioned (optional sale with or without rear seats)

Cambelt broke 8 years/50000 miles ago, had brand new head installed with reconditioned modified injectors. Remapped to ~130 bhp. Genuine Intercooler. Stainless side exit exhaust.
Recent top and bottom front ball joints and track rod ends. Cambelt has another 2 years life. MOT due September. Sachs HD shocks, 40mm lower vogtland springs, rebuilt powder coated front brake calipers, turbo refurbished.
With the van being 20 years old - the paint is faded (patina) in places, I recently tidied the wheel arches and replaced some panels which has tidied it up considerably. There is a slight dint mid way down the drivers side.
Van drives really great, is comfortable and will cruise all day long, I would not hesitate driving across europe. Would make an ideal camper conversion or continued kombi/day van.
