1966 Splitty

I’m selling my German built 66 Split as I don’t use it as much as I did and it needs to be out and appreciated

As far as I know it was imported from America around 8 years ago and I’ve had it for the last 6 years

The previous owner started the restoration works by adding
Disk brakes to the front
Creative engineering steering rack and some body work
Some engine work with twin webbers and a 1740cc bore
Full rock and roll bed
Lap belts to front and back

Since I’ve had it it’s had more work done including
New door and panel cards over new insulation
Head lining and full upholstery
Curtains
New oak ply interior cupboards which have a 240/12v fridge
Gas ring and sink unit with waste outlet
240v sockets and 12v usb and car charger sockets
New front panel
Clutch changed about 500 miles ago
Full respray 4 years ago and wax oil underside
Leisure battery and charging system
Bumpers

The van comes with a kampa air beam awning
Full outdoor cover
Thermal sucker window covers
And various other bits

The van starts and runs great with no issues, the only issue I’ve had is that the charger packed up once and I couldn’t start it but that’s re wired and sorted
We bought if from Aberdeen and decided to give it a full test by driving it back to the Midlands which thankfully it passed much to my surprise

The body work looks great but it’s a usable functioning van not a show van

I’m looking to get £32.000 for it

I will try and answer any questions if I can but I’m more of a enjoyer of campers than an expert
