A very solid Microbus. The van had a 4-year restoration in 2003. It is still in fine condition as it has been garaged since that date. A new 1776cc engine was fitted less than 500 miles ago. I bought the van as it had no interior. I wanted to convert the van into a day van. That is now done and I want a new project. Since buying the van the following work has been carried out.
Work carried out by G’Day Campers Abingdon (November 2021)
1. Van lowered. Front beam removed and beam adjusters fitted. New Steering pin fitted and new track rod arms and drag link. New shock absorbers fitted front and rear. New torsion bushes fitted to lowered rear. Van laser tracked.
2. Replaced rear gearbox coupler and fitted new. Replaced oil pump and fitted new seals and gaskets. Removed existing distributor and fitted Petronix vacuum advance distributer and coil. Fitted EMPI shifter.
3. Removed engine to fit new flywheel oil seal. Removed firewall, petrol tank removed to check and refit with all new ethanol tolerant filler neck, breathers and fuel pipes. Removed gearbox to replace output shaft oil seals and gearbox input shaft oil seal.

1. Fitted all new interior.
2. Rock and roll bed, Storage, sink and gas burner.
3. Tongue and groove ceiling with led down lighters.
4. Rotatable passenger seat with table.
5. Electrical control panel with mains input and 12v distribution.
6. Cool box and water system.
7. New vehicle battery and leisure battery with VSR
8. Curtains, all new upholstery.
9. Door cards, carpet over vinyl floor. etc, etc.
