1995 Volkswagen Transporter T4 LWB Campervan project

1995 Volkswagen Transporter T4 LWB Campervan project. 2.4d 161k miles. For sale is our long wheelbase T4 campervan purchased in 2020. We had used the van for a couple of enjoyable UK trips before discovering some previously bodged holes in the sills and rear suspension mounting. Van therefore has no MOT – it’s a great project to take on as the interior is good and complete and the running gear is sound. Unfortunately I do not have the time or facilities to take on the work myself and would love to see the van go to someone that can give it the time of day. Welding is required to the inner and outer sills, areas of the front arches and rear suspension mounts. The van will come with the inner and outer front sill panels and a wheel arch repair panel. Mechanically sound, the engine runs well and the van drives, stops and changes gear as to be expected. There is an extensive service history that comes with the van. Interior is good and being a long wheelbase model it is quite roomy. Included is a 2 ring gas hob, sink and tap and all the units that provide plenty of storage. The units have been rejuvenated recently with white vinyl and a new countertop. It has a rock and roll bed/bench with bespoke cushions. We have the insulated window covers that can be included. Van has electric hook-up installed and will come with the cable. Audi alloy wheels in good condition enhance the look of the van, though there is some bodywork that will want attention as there are signs of poor workmanship from a previous respray with areas of corrosion starting to show in the typical places.
