Westfalia T4 Hightop 2.4 Diesel

After many years of great service, it is time to put our much loved LHD Westfalia T4 California up for sale as we have finally outgrown it as a family. We bought the van in 2013 when we lived in Germany, not far from the original factory, from an elderly man in Bielefeld who had owned it since new in 1994. We brought it back with us in 2015 and have had many great trips both at home and abroad. The engine has been reliable (2.4 diesel -top speed 70 mph). It has been well looked after and new parts bought when needed. Gearbox, clutch, water pump and timing belt were replaced in late 2019. Exhaust replaced May this year. It has an MOT until May 2023 and has done 237,754 km (147,733 miles). Being a Westfalia, the interior is very well designed and it features a fridge (adjustable to 20/-20), two hobs using gas, Trumatic convection heater, mains hook up, leisure battery with new charger, water tank and waste water, sink with tap, plug socket and 12v extra socket, reading lights upstairs, two lights downstairs, captain’s swivel seats, table, wardrobe cupboard plus three more cupboards, rock n roll bed with storage beneath, original curtains, pull out bed in the hightop and bluetooth stereo. It also has a bike rack fitted for three bikes plus a spare extra rack if you need one more. The hightop allows much more storage than a poptop and you can also stand up easily when the beds are away.
