Earlybay van

Built on the 15th November 1967,makes this van one of the very earliest baywindows built by volkswagen, (I have the birth certificate from volkswagen to prove build dates etc) and therefore one of the oldest baywindows on the road today. Coming from the dry state of nevada the Western is rock solid. The Western was used as an advertising board for Western VW, a volkswagen repair shop in las vegas nevada, it was sat in the desert and it had the shop name on the side and an arrow pointing to the garage,which is still visible, It was imported to England in 2009 as a rolling shell with most of its signage faded away. It was sympathetically re written and given all it needed to be put back on the road. After 2 owners I purchased the van from way down in Bournemouth. then I immediately sent it to union aircooled in Queensbury (check out there website) to give it a once over. £4000.00 later it was safe to be driven. All the brakes are brand new, as is the steering box, clutch master cylinder, suspension bushes,etc etc.much too much to list,but all receipts are with me and available to view.lots and lots of history with this van, receipts back to 2009.The interior has a full width rock n roll bed,and the panels are covered in a light sand coloured 4 way stretch material.
