1972 VW T2 Yellow South African Microbus

1972 VW T2 Yellow South African Microbus Virtually rust free and never been restored. Almost all original paint. Just had a full service and MOT. Built in South Africa in 1972, imported to the UK in 2005 when imported 63,723 miles in ’05. Today it only has covered 87,400 Kilometres. Amazing original VW that has covered less than 15,000 miles in 17 years! We bought the vehicle as it is, the same year, colour, and engine as the very first Camper Mark and Kerry had when they set up Just Kampers in 1989, they then bought the same spec as this one in the USA and drove from LA to New York! When we were looking for another one, the mission was to “find an unmolested, original, rust free T2 without a pop top” and having searched the UK, this was the best one around that Team JK could find. A year later and just too many projects on the go, it needs to find a new home. It passed its MOT last month with “Flying Colours”. It’s spent its life in a garage, Virtually RUST FREE and it’s not been restored! Lots of period accessories including the sliding doorstep, belt line trim, window jail bars, luggage bars. Along with upgrades such as upgraded gearstick by Vintage Speed, Radio with Bluetooth and upgraded speakers. Huge history file, with lots of money spent maintaining the vehicle. 2000cc VEGE Reconditioned engine fitted 2007 (only 10600 Kilometres ago) with new Weber carbs.
