VW T2 Aircooled 3.2 ltr with Porsche 915 5 speed

A one of kind Bay window van.

I've owned this van for the past 21 years and in that time given it a complete bare metal refurbishment as well as lots of customising of the body work both inside and out. I've also fitted a 3.2 ltr type I engine which is coupled to a Porsche 915 5 speed box. When I had it tuned at Rawspeed in Plymouth it was developing around 110 / 120 BHP at the wheels which makes it fun to drive. I also swapped the original Devon roof to a Dormobile (which I refurbished) as I think it's a much nicer and better looking conversion. I've basically been creating my dream van.

The van is sold with the interior unfinished. In typical fashion I got carried away and started building it out of composite panels to make it light but this was a lot slower than just building in wood so I got about half way through before other commitments got in the way.

I will be adding to this listing over the coming weeks with lots more up to date photos and details but I promised myself I would get the van listed now, so apologies for the slightly sparse listing. If you know about these vans then you can tell from these first couple of pics that this van is something a bit different and it's had huge amounts of time and money spent on it over the years.
