1970 vw baywindow westfalia

For sale. 1970 vw bay window Westfalia.
The camper is a Californian import so is rock solid underneath and I have just finished the restoration so it has brand new bushes, brakes, window rubbers and wiring loom from Aircooled auto-elec. the engine is a 1600 twinport and has also just been fully rebuilt and has twin kadron carbs fitted which have been vapour blasted and fully rebuilt.

Inside the camper has a dometic cr50 fridge and a domestic hob and sink combo. It also has a 5kw diesel heater which has been plumbed into the van heater system so it works onto the screen and through the van vents aswell as two additional vents into the back. The bed has all been reupholstered and looks really fitting for van. The camper has a 110 leisure battery fitted to a split charger to power the electrical system inside.

Outside the van has plenty of really cool patina with some pinstriping around the windows. The roof has a really cool burn on it from it’s time in the states although the van is so solid from the dry climate.

The camper is a ready to go van that is loads of fun to use! It’s a shame to sell it although we really need something bigger for us to use to its full potential.
