A lightened 6kg 8 dowel Fly Wheel for use with a 200mm clutch and counterweighted crankshaft.
These are designed for use on late style 12 volt engines and are supplied with a fitted 130 tooth ring gear.
A lightened flywheel reduces rotational inertia and quicker acceleration will be experienced as the engine will be able to increase (and decrease) revs more quickly (particularly when unloaded). This flywheel should be installed in conjunction with an 8 dowel crankshaft.
These are a great upgrade when building a performance air-cooled Type 1 Engine.
