We're organising another JK Beach Clean at East Wittering beach on Sunday 16th March 2025, and we’d love you to join us!

Here at Just Kampers we love getting out and about in the great outdoors – especially when we’re supporting a good cause! That’s why we’re once again teaming up with Surfers Against Sewage for another beach clean, where the JK Team will be collecting rubbish from East Wittering beach. This is all part of the work we're doing as part of the Surfers Against Sewage Ocean Network, and we're hoping to see you at the beach!

When & Where?

We're inviting all of you to come join us at East Wittering on the south coast, to spend a couple of hours cleaning up the beach and chatting with the JK Team. We'll be there with our friends, families, and dogs as well as litter-picking equipment.

Date: Saturday 16 March 2025

Time: 10am - Midday

Location: East Wittering, West Sussex

Meeting Point: Tamarisk Walk/Booker Green (What3Words: emeralds.towels.sometimes)

Why Take Part?

Plastic and litter continue to plague the UK’s stunning beaches, posing a threat to wildlife and polluting our environment. By giving even an hour of your time, you’ll be playing an essential role in preserving our coastlines. Whether you’ve taken part in a clean-up before or this is your first time, it’s a fantastic way to do your bit for the environment, meet like-minded people, and enjoy some fresh sea air while giving back to the planet.

Our past beach cleans with Surfers Against Sewage have been a huge success, with an amazing community of volunteers getting stuck in and having fun.

About Surfers Against Sewage

Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) is a fantastic charity working tirelessly to protect the oceans, beaches, and wildlife. What started over 30 years ago as a small community of surfers taking a stand against plastic pollution and poor water quality, has now become one of the UK’s most successful marine conservation and campaigning charities.

With their headquarters in St Agnes, close to the waves and their roots, SAS has a core team of 40 people, who regularly collaborate with volunteers, donors, and supporters across the country. They rely on people like you joining clean-ups, signing petitions, donating, and spreading the word.

How To Get Involved

There’s no need to sign up in advance, you can simply show up on the day. Feel free to bring along family and friends - the more, the merrier!

Join us on Saturday 16th March at East Wittering to make a difference – and have a bit of fun along the way.

Alternatively, if you’d like to get involved with another SAS beach clean, check out their website and find a beach clean near you
