And that’s a wrap for Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024! Nick from the JK Team, our photographer extraordinaire, was at Festival of Speed for all four days this weekend, soaking up everything the event has to offer.
Here's what Nick told us about the event:
Once again the Duke of Richmond opens up his lawn and fills it with one of the biggest automotive spectacles in the world. The theme of this year's event was ‘Horseless to Hybrid – Revolutions in Power’.
It was great to see a Meyers Manx on the Cartier Style et Luxe Lawn as part of the ‘Jolly Good Beach Cars’ Category.
Redbull celebrated their 20th anniversary at FOS this year with a line-up of all their F1 cars, which was quite a spectacle! Not only that, they were driven by a star-studded line up including Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez, Daniel Riccardo, Mark Webber, David Coulthard, Adrian Newey, Christian Horner and Christian Klein.
The Rally stage is always one of my favourite parts of the Festival of Speed. Nothing quite like watching a WRC spec Hyundai sliding sideways kicking up dust and dirt! I grew up watching Colin McRae and playing McRae rally on the PS1, so I will always have a soft spot for the iconic Blue 555 Subaru WRX.
Another moment that would only ever happen at Goodwood was a gathering of Jaun Pablo Montoya, Sir Jackie Steward, Sebastian Montoya Freydell and Lia Block (pictured above).
