Rae from the JK Team recently attended the Endless Summer VW Show - a family-run, non-profit charity event dedicated to raising funds for Naomi House & Jacksplace. Every year, the show not only raises vital donations but also takes time throughout the day to highlight the incredible work that Naomi House does, helping to raise awareness alongside much-needed funds.
Held at the beautiful Vicarage Farm Park, just outside of Basingstoke, usually mid July on a Sunday, Endless Summer is a fun, relaxed, family and dog-friendly event that welcomes everyone. Whether you’re a fan of modern Volkswagen builds or beautifully restored classics, there’s something for every VW enthusiast to enjoy.
The show also features a fantastic variety of traders, offering everything from car cleaning products and custom skateboards to unique clothing, handcrafted gifts and automotive accessories. Live music keeps the atmosphere buzzing throughout the afternoon, while a wide selection of food and drink vendors - including gourmet burgers, toasties, coffee, milkshakes and more - means you’ll never go hungry.
One of the best things about Endless Summer is that public entry is completely free! Visitors simply pay to park their vehicle, with the option of parking in either the show field or the general parking area. It makes for an affordable, enjoyable day out for the whole family while supporting a truly worthwhile cause.
With its welcoming atmosphere, incredible selection of vehicles, great entertainment and commitment to charity, the Endless Summer VW Show has become one of the most enjoyable and meaningful Volkswagen events on the calendar.
My favourite car of the show has to be the white Notch. It’s quite a well-known UK show car that I seem to come across a few times each year at various events, and it never gets old. It’s such a simple but incredibly effective build. From its stance to the pinstriping, every detail just works together to create a beautiful car.
Unfortunately, my Beetle didn’t make it this year after losing a headlight the day before at KÄFERNATION UK, but that didn’t stop us from going. We headed down in the Split with the dogs, and honestly it’s a can’t miss the event. It’s another show that’s firmly marked in my calendar every year.
As always, we had a fantastic time. If you ever get the chance to go, I’d 100% recommend it - you won’t be disappointed.
