The Cornish market town of Helston has been celebrating Flora Day for hundreds of years, welcoming the start of spring and the season of vitality and regrowth with song, dance and flowers.
A rare and beautiful sight, the whole town of Helston gets involved with Flora Day, which is usually celebrated on 8 May, although in 2023 it'll be held on Friday 5 May.
There's a series of five dances arranged throughout the day, so there'll be plenty to see and do, whether you're just dropping by for a couple of hours or looking to camp nearby and make a weekend of it!
