The annual Bibury Duck Race is one of the Cotswolds' more unusual traditions, pulling in the crowds from far and wide.
Every year, usually at 11am on Boxing Day, the small, picturesque and tranquil village of Bibury is transformed as hundreds of spectators wrap up in the their woolly hats and scarves to gather along the River Coln which runs through the village.
Over 150 decoy ducks will enter the water, and you can 'sponsor' one for £10, which goes into a pot to be donated to charity. The holder of the winning ticket gets to choose the charity to which all the proceeds from this race are donated.
