Our JK AirPro+ campervan roof vent and fan will add extra light and ventilation to the interior of your camper, motorhome, or boat. 

Exclusive to Just Kampers, the JK AirPro+ is an electric roof fan, vent, and skylight which will allow you to control the air flow in and out of your camper at the press of a button. It’s simple to install in the roof of your vehicle, and even easier to use once it’s in place!

JK AirPro+ Airflow Rate – Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM):

The air flow rate for the JK AirPro+ is a 900 cubic feet per minute, which is enough to change all the air inside your camper in under a minute. 

The largest vans on UK road, with extra-long wheelbases and high roofs, have an internal volume of around 600 cubic feet, which is easy for the JK AirPro+ to handle. 

With ten different speeds for the fan to operate at, you’ll be able to easily control how quickly the air flows in or out of your vehicle.  

JK AirPro+ Electrical Information: 

The JK AirPro+ runs on your camper van’s 12-volt electrical system, and uses your leisure battery as its power source. You’ll need to double check that your vehicle’s electrical system can handle the additional draw of the fan before you install it. 

It’s unlikely that you’ll need to run your JK AirPro+ for extended periods, or to have it on constantly, so it won’t draw power in the same way as a fridge, for example. 

You’ll find that the electrical draw will vary depending on the speed that you’ve got your fan running at, with the JK AirPro+ drawing less power from your camper’s electrical system at slower speeds, and drawing more at higher speeds. 

Approximate JK AirPro+ power consumption:

Power draw at lowest speed setting: 0.2 amps, or ~2 watts,

Power draw at highest speed setting: 4.4 amps, or 53 watts. 

Please note that the figures listed above are approximate, and also be aware that the JK AirPro+ may briefly draw around 9 amps when it’s first starting up and raising the lid to allow air to flow. 

How to fit the JK AirPro+: 

Installing the JK AirPro+ to the roof of your camper is a simple and straightforward process, but it does require cutting a hole in the roof of your vehicle and connecting it to your electrical system, and so it’s recommended that you seek qualified professional help if you don’t personally have the tools, skills, or experience to take on the job yourself. 

A full set of instructions will be supplied with your JK AirPro+, which will guide you through the process, but here’s a quick overview of the steps involved: 

• Select the location you want your JK AirPro+ to be fitted in, perhaps over your camper’s hob to extract cooking smells more quickly, or above the living area to give it extra light. 

• Measure, check, and then cut the hole in the roof of your camper for the JK AirPro+ to fit into. You’ll need at least one other person with you to ensure you stay safe while on your vehicle’s roof. 

• Smooth the edges of the hole you just cut, and locate the frame of the JK AirPro+ into it. Seal the fan in place with proper sealant to stop any water getting into the interior of your camper. 

• Fit the remaining parts of the JK AirPro+ into the frame, and then wire it into your camper’s electrical system. Finally, give it a proper electrical test to make sure that it’s operating correctly and working safely.
