The EMPI JayCee BGD Series Carburetor is crafted from a solid 16-pound block of 6061 T-6 aluminium, which undergoes CNC machining at the EMPI headquarters in Anaheim, California. Each unit is meticulously hand-assembled using custom billet venturis, velocity stacks, and jet deflectors, all secured with black oxide hardware. This assembly includes a specially profiled throttle shaft, sealed shaft bearing, and our unique billet booster, which has been dyno-tested to enhance both horsepower and torque. The BGD Carburetor maintains the same external dimensions and bolt pattern as the standard IDA or EPC carburettors, effectively concealing the larger float bowl. Extensive flow bench and dyno testing have ensured that these carburettors deliver exceptional performance alongside their aesthetic appeal. Each carburettor is sold individually and is proudly made in the USA.
