Quality Propex product. This money-saving bundle kit gives you absolutely everything you need to install a Propex Heatsource HS2000 fan heater - just supply your own tools! The kit contains all the main components you need to fit the Propex unit to your vehicle, combining the heater itself, the fitting kit and digital thermostat. The Heatsource fan heater works independently from your engine, whether you’re parked up or on the move.

This bundle kit is a fantastic way to get all the parts you need to fit a Propex Heatsource HS2000 to your campervan, motorhome, RV, boat or van, and enjoy the warmth of central heating. Ideal for any vehicle with 12V power and enough space in the interior to safetly fit the unit, the Propex HS2000 is perfect for a whole range of vehicles, and isn’t just designed for VWs.

In fact, we sell lot of these Propex heating systems to people busy transforming panel vans into campers and who want to make sure they can stay warm and cosy while on camping adventures during the winter months.

A highly efficient and compact interior heating system, the Propex Heatsource HS200 has been specifically engineered for motorhomes and touring vehicles, so you know you’re investing in a quality heating product. This Propex heater fits all VW campers with 12v electrics. Please be aware that these heaters are rated for use with 30mb butane and 30/37mb propane.

This is widely acceptable across Europe, though some European countries also use 50mb gas pressure. These are not suitable for use in the USA. Please also note: If fitting to a VW T2 Split Screen, you will need to have a 12-volt power supply. Installation and servicing of this gas-powered unit must comply with current gas safety register-(GB), Corgi (Ni) regulations or the relevant national organisation.

The included fitting kit is intended for European customers only. This heating system offers a high efficiency rating with the luxury of thermostatic control via an easily fitted, wall mounted thermostat. Unlike some heaters, it requires minimal electricity during ignition – so cycling the Heatsource on does not lead to additional battery drain.

Ball race bearings used in the heater fans allow quiet operation, while a stainless-steel burner and heat-exchanger coupled with clean combustion give maintenance-free durability. Surprisingly compact, in Vans and Buses the unit is usually mounted in a bed-box or cupboard, and flued downwards through the floor and out to the side of the vehicle using the flexible stainless ducting provided.

Please be aware that these heaters are rated for use with 30mb butane and 30/37mb propane. This is widely acceptable across Europe, though some European countries also use 50mb gas pressure. In the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, they use 11” water gauges. Both of these variations require an alternative jet to be fitted to the unit and provide a different set of certification.
