Quality Just Kampers product, exclusive to JK. Looking to convert your Crafter or Sprinter from a panel van into a camper? Installing a pair of tinted side windows to your van is a great away to take a big step towards creating your dream campervan. We’ve put together this money-saving bundle kit to make sure you’ve got all the parts you need to fit a pair of tinted windows to your van, whether you’re getting a professional to install them, or you’ve got the tools and experience to do the job yourself.

    The kit contains:

    • A tinted, opening window for the offside (right) forward side panel,

    • A tinted, fixed (non-opening) window for the nearside (left) forward side panel,

Two tubes of adhesive bonding agent, to fix the glass in place,

    • Two felt applicators, to spread the adhesive to where you need it,

    • Two cleaning sachets and two bottles of glass primer, to prep the windows before installation.

Fitting tinted windows to your van is an excellent way to make it look and feel more like a camper. You’ll be able to get more light into the rear of your van, as well as more airflow with the sliding window on the offside. Fits both the nearside (left) and offside (right) on the medium wheelbase or long wheelbase VW Crafter (2006 - 2017) and Mercedes Sprinter built from 2006 onwards.

The windows measure approximately 1406 mm x 755 mm on the offside (right), and 1402 mm x 774 mm on the nearside (left).

    At a glance:

    • Kit includes everything you need to install a pair of side windows,

    • The glass has a strong window tint, with 33% light transparency,

    • Offers an excellent degree of privacy, and protection from harsh sunlight,

    • The dark tint makes the glass unsuitable for use in taxis,

    • Opening the offside window is quick and easy, for better ventilation in your camper.

All the glass we sell at JK has been fully tested for quality and safety, and has it’s E Code mark. This code shows that the product has been approved and certified. If you want to really transform your van into a home away from home, you can install a pair of curtains for each of your new windows, so you’re not woken up at the crack of dawn while you’re away camping.

For the medium wheelbase Crafter or Sprinter, see J44198 for the nearside, and J44197 for the offside. On the long wheelbase Sprinter or Crafter, you’ll need J44296 on the nearside and J44297 for the offside.

    Fitting Windows:

You can install one window, or several, into your vehicle by yourself, if you have the tools, experience and the confidence to do so. However, we do advise that windows are installed by a trained, experienced professional to avoid any errors being made. If you’re at all unsure of how to fit your new windows, it’s always best to have the glass fitted by a pro, who will be able to ensure that it’s done quickly, safely and securely. Please also note that fitting windows to your vehicle, where there weren’t windows before, may affect your insurance. We advise contacting your insurance company before fitting the windows, to see whether it will affect your policy and how. Watch our fitting guide video for information on DIY installation of window glass.

    Money-saving bundle kit:

We’ve put together this money-saving bundle kit to save you money, and make sure you’ve got all the parts you need to get the job done. We can’t supply the tools or the tea, but we can make sure you’ve got the rest! By buying all these products together, you can ensure won’t have forgotten to add an essential part to your basket, and can get on with working on your vehicle right away without having to wait for it to show up later. We’ve all been part-way through a project, really on a roll, and then had to stop when we realise we’re missing one small part, and it’s not a problem we want you to have!

Please be aware that, due to the size, weight and fragile nature of this glass, we can only deliver it to Mainland UK addresses.
