Before you start:
Give the instructions a proper read through before you start, paying particular attention to the information about where to set your instant garage up.
Reading the instructions before beginning to set up your instant garage will help to make sure that you and the people around you stay safe while you’re assembling it, and that it will be correctly set up.
Tools you’ll need:
You won’t need any tools to assemble the frame of your new Instant Garage.
Suitable tools may be needed if you’re using the optional anchoring kit, and which tools you need will vary depend on the type of ground you’re securing your instant garage to.
Basic assembly instructions:
Below you’ll find a solid overview of the steps required to assemble your Clarke Instant Garage. Full instructions are available at the bottom of this page, and are also included in the box when you purchase your instant garage.
Carefully open up the box which your instant garage arrived in, and lay out all of the pieces in groups. You’ll find a guide to the boxes contents in the printed instructions which come in the box, and it’s recommended that you divide out the pieces into groups of the same piece to make assembly as quick as possible.
Note: Do not open the box with a knife, scissors, or sharp blade as you risk cutting the canvas.
Locate all of the components which form the roof, and slot them together.
Make sure that you refer to the diagram in the instructions so that all if the pieces are pointing in the right direction – you don’t want to have to take things apart because they’re pointing ‘up’ when it comes time to attach the legs.
Attach the legs. There will be several legs which run down each side of your instant garage, so you’ll need to repeat the simple leg-assembly process a few times to get it all built.
Set the frame straight, and secure it in place. Again, you’ll find full instructions on how to do this in the printed instructions which come in the box.
Secure the canvas in place on the front and back of the frame. Make sure that you’ve got the front facing in the right direction, or you won’t be able to park your vehicle inside.
Fix the main cover to the top of your awning, and secure it in place. That’s it! You’ve completed all the steps!
Take some time to go around your new instant garage to make sure that everything is assembled properly, lined up nicely, and secured correctly, and then you’ll be ready to park your vehicle inside and get it sheltered from the elements.

• Do not use this product in environments for which it is not Intended (i.e. extreme cold, high winds, extreme heat, heavy rainfall, etc),
• Do not use open flames, cooking equipment, or heating devices inside or in close proximity to the garage. This includes all types of stoves, gas heaters, gas lanterns, torches, fly killers, etc. The fabric will burn if left in continuous contact with a naked flame,
• Do not store flammable liquids (petrol, kerosene, propane, etc.) in the garage, or operate gas powered vehicles/equipment in or around the garage,
• Always follow the instructions for anchoring the garage.
Where to place your Instant Garage:
Choose your garage location carefully. Check for overhead power lines, tree branches, etc.
Do not install near roofs or other structures that may shed snow, ice, or excessive run-off water onto your garage.
Erect your garage on level ground over a firm, level area. Make sure that you allow enough space near each corner for the ground anchors and tie-down straps supplied to be used as intended.
If the ground area is of tarmac or concrete, the use of ground anchor holding-down bolts will be required to anchor the garage to the floor.
Choose a dry location where dampness arising from ground water in the environment will not undermine the protection offered by the garage. A masonry floor such as block paving or concrete is ideal, but if this is not available, a timber or shuttering plywood floor, protected by a suitable groundsheet should be used. This will help to create a dry storage environment by insulating the garage storage space from ground moisture.
Proper anchoring and keeping the cover tight and free of snow and debris is the responsibility of the user.
