We’d like to say a massive Thank You to everyone who dropped by at the JK stands at the VolksWorld Show 2016 over the weekend!
It’s always great to catch up with so many old friends, and to meet new ones as well, and this weekend was no exception.
Our Facebook page has over 100 photos from the show, so if you weren’t able to make it to VolksWorld 2016 you can get a good idea of what was there.
Extra effort was put into the JK stands and displays at this year’s VolksWorld Show, so all the positive feedback we had in person and online really makes all the hard work worth it.
We had a number of things on display at the show, including:
- All new Fumagalli Wheels, fresh from the original production line
- A range of new VW merchandise, including mugs and key rings
- The 2016 camping range, including new melamine and awnings
- An interactive Dynamat display, featuring Mr. Dynamat
- Just Kampers insurance, and the Win the Variant competition
- A dozen show vehicles, some of which are for sale:
- The 1975 Puma
- The blue 1972 Variant from Brazil
- Mark Reynolds’ VW T25 Syncro
- Our T2 Bay Twin-slider
- The 1965 Brazilian Split Screen Microbus
- Our Porsche 914
- The 1980 Brasilia
- The Lil’ Bugger
- Mark Reynolds’ 1966 VW Beetle Cabriolet
- Our 1950 VW Beetle
- The red Brazilian Variant which we’re giving away
- Our Brazilian 1990 VW T2 Pick Up
While some of these sold over the weekend, others are still available, so get in touch if you’re interested!
The all new Fumagalli wheels were a massive draw, and it was great to see so many people recognise them, and then get excited about the idea of getting their hands on a new set from Just Kampers.
As they haven’t been available new off the production line since the 1970s, it’s a really cool opportunity for us to bring something back to the VW scene.
The Lil’ Bugger also got a lot of attention, which was nice to see, as the JK Team have devoted a lot of lunch breaks to getting her looking so good!
She’s for sale, and we’re hoping some enterprising individual will snatch up the opportunity to own such a cool, unique ‘dub and turn her into a food truck or coffee shop or similar – we even installed two-part ‘stable doors’ so they’d be easy to turn into a counter!
Up at the top, past the paddocks, we had a range of our new awnings on display, with a whole lot of people taking the opportunity to look around them and test them out.
As a primarily mail-order company, we always make sure we bring things like awnings along to shows to give you the chance to have a proper look at them before you buy, as we understand that it’s a big investment and definitely one worth getting right!
We tried out a bit of a new look for the show, and we had a lot of absolutely fantastic feedback from so many of you, so thank you for taking the time to stop by and let us know what you thought.
If you weren’t able to join us at the weekend, we had a series of old school VW images from sales guides, owners’ manuals, magazines and our own archives made into boards and banners that went around our main stand inside at the VolksWorld Show, which looked great – if we do say so ourselves!
Feedback from from all at shows really is invaluable to us, as it helps us to continually expand and improve the range of products and services we offer here at JK.
