The Retro Rides Weekender is a weekend-long car show held at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in Chichester, West Sussex, celebrating retro and modified vehicles from before the year 2000. This event showcases a wide array of cars, track activities, club exhibits, and offers on-site camping, drawing in a diverse group of enthusiasts.

Why Attend Retro Rides Weekender 2026?
More than 800 retro and modified cars are on display, featuring hot hatches, hot rods, drifters, and custom builds. On-Track Action: Attendees can participate in track sessions, allowing them to drive their classic cars on the circuit. Themed Displays: Various displays highlight different aspects of car culture. On-site camping is available throughout the weekend, generally opening on Friday afternoon and closing on Sunday afternoon. The event fosters a relaxed vibe, focused on a shared love for retro and modified cars.
Car displays
You'll experience a wealth of pre-2000 vehicles on display, from hot rods to hot hatches for you to enjoy. On Saturday, display cars are in the outfield and in-field parking areas. On Sunday, the out-field parking areas are mostly used for the club showcase, and the track is used for individual display & retro parking; however, due to the volume of cars, we use other in-field and out-field areas too. For both days, the in-field paddocks are used for our curated displays, and public parking is in an adjacent field to the venue.

Exciting live action on the track will be happening all weekend long. On Saturday, we have the thrilling point-to-point Sprint, which is perfect for everything from race-ready cars to everyday vehicles. Then on Sunday, the Auto Solo time trials make their comeback. If you've ever dreamed of driving on the Goodwood circuit, you'll soon be able to apply to join in on the on-track excitement!
But the Retro Rides Weekender isn't just about incredible cars. There will be plenty of daytime entertainment to keep both kids and adults entertained; expect a live stunt show, specialised retro vehicle trade stands, delicious food stalls, bars, and the chance to camp out for the weekend!
