EvaResto 15w-40 Engine Oil (5 Litres)

Our friends at VW specialists EvaResto have developed a range of their own oils, specifically designed for air-cooled Volkswagen engines.

This 15W-40 multigrade oil has been created for modified VW engines, which are mostly still stock but run a few performance upgrades to give them more power – and create more heat. It’s got a higher ZDDP content than their standard 10W-30 oil, to help better protect your engine’s essential components. 

The formula has also been created to work best in the generally mild climate here in the UK, where your air-cooled engine is less likely to be used in extremely high or low temperatures. 

We also stock two other specifications of engine oil from EvaReso: 

• EvaResto 10w-30 oil for stock engines – J50161

• EvaResto 10w-40 oil for performance engines – J50163

Product Specifications:

• High shear stability for stay in grade performance,

• Excellent high temperature stability,

• Improved bore polishing protection,

• Excellent anti-wear performance for reduced engine wear.

Elemental Zinc level of 1150ppm - ZDDP 11,500ppm

Contains an elemental zinc level of 1,150ppm – 11,500ppm of ZDDP (Zinc Dialkyl Dithiophosphate). 

The Zinc Dialkyl Dithiophosphate in this multigrade engine oil from Eva Restos is an additive which helps to prevent wear, oxidisation, and corrosion in your VW’s air-cooled engine. It does this by forming a protective layer over essential components, especially surfaces which would ordinarily see a lot of wear.
