Empi Twin 40 HPMX Carburettor Kit Type 4 VW T2 Bay 1971–1979 VW T25 1979–1983

Quality EMPI product. Complete Twin 40 HPMC carburettor kit. Designed for 1700cc, 1800cc, and 2000cc type 4 engines engines.

Can be fitted to VW T2 Bays built from 1971 to 1979, or VW T25 / T3s built from 1979 to 1983.

Please note: If you’re fiting these carburettors to a VW T25, the engine lid will require modification to allow these carbs to fit.

This kit includes of a pair of 2 x 40 HPMX carburettors, manifolds, linkage, air filters, fittings, and detailed instructions.

The 40 HPMX carburettor is the EMPI version of the Weber IDF, but with alterations and improvements to the design meaning that these carbs are well suited to performance engines.
