These blackout campervan curtains fit the rear side windows on either side of your long-wheelbase VW T4, helping to block out sunlight, improve privacy and keep warmth inside your camper.
Exclusive to Just Kampers, these curtains are designed specifically for the rear side windows on long-wheelbase VW T4 Transporters, with pre-formed curtain rails and the required fitting hardware supplied.
Fits: Long-wheelbase VW T4 Transporters built from 1990 to 2003. These curtains can be fitted to either the nearside (left-hand) or offside (right-hand) rear side window, as the windows are designed to be symmetrical.
Made from high-quality knitted jersey fabric, these double-layer blackout curtains feature a black layer facing the window to help absorb and block sunlight, while the grey inner layer provides a neutral finish that suits most campervan interiors. The closely packed fibres also help provide an additional layer of insulation, helping to retain warmth inside your camper overnight.
What’s included?
- Blackout curtain panels to cover each rear side window
- Pre-formed, pre-drilled curtain rails
- Screws, fittings and other required curtain hardware
The curtain rails have already been shaped to the correct dimensions for the rear side windows, so there’s no need to cut, bend or modify them before fitting.
The curtains are also made to the correct size and shape for the windows, helping to minimise gaps and provide effective blackout coverage.
Why should I buy these curtains for my VW T4?
These curtains are designed specifically for the rear side windows on long-wheelbase VW T4 Transporters from 1990 to 2003. They’re an ideal finishing touch for a campervan conversion, helping you create a darker, more private and comfortable interior.
The double-layer knitted jersey fabric helps block out bright sunlight, making it easier to sleep beyond sunrise when camping. Its closely packed fibres also provide additional insulation, helping to retain warmth when temperatures drop.
The black outer layer faces towards the window, where it helps absorb sunlight, while the grey inner layer provides a smart, neutral appearance that works well with a wide range of campervan interior styles and colours.
Because the rear side windows are symmetrical, these curtains can be fitted to either the nearside or offside rear side window, giving you flexibility when installing them in your T4.
The pre-formed rails and included fitting hardware also make installation more straightforward, with no need to shape or modify the rails yourself. The curtain fabric needs to be stretched during fitting to create the intended pleated finish.
Fitting:
The supplied rails are ready to fit. Position the rails around the window, mark and drill where required, secure them using the supplied fixings, and attach the curtains using the gliders/hooks.
