Many leading engine builders recommend and utilise copper head gaskets. They are effective for fine-tuning deck height and compression ratios in high-performance setups. When installed properly, they can also enhance the seal between the cylinder head and the cylinder.
Also used on Turbo engines to give better sealing under boost.
When installing this component, always ensure it is correctly positioned at the top of the cylinder; otherwise, it may lead to compression leaks. Additionally, keep in mind that copper allows for some crush during installation. Be sure to allow a small tolerance for this crush!
