This model features the right-handed sink. Please account for its depth before commitment to a fitting location. Sink demits from surface by 15 cm so we recommend the sink area is fixed above a cupboard, this presents a very low risk of interference from other equipment.

Dual burners

Thanks to the CAN Randi’s dual hob setup, your meal choices while travelling are dramatically increased! Cooking on-the-go often leads to compromise; cooking facilities appear limited when compared to capacity of a home kitchen. Compromise often prompts us to ditch the healthy stuff, which is often why we feel groggy at the end of our trips!

Holiday cooking shouldn’t limit your diet; CAN’s dual hob setup promises you’ll never have to compromise again.

CAN’s dual burner setup includes two outputs:

• Auxiliary burner, which produces 1 kW of cooking power,
• Semi rapid burner, which produces 1.9 kW of cooking power.

Integrated sink

Sink is formed from quality stainless steel, this material boasts sanitary properties which makes for easier maintenance and clean-up. The sink bowl falls 15 cm deep, facilitating plenty of space for washing pans and plates.

Design includes a pronounced lip which supports the unit while placed upon your surface. Inward from the lip edge, the steel is warped to form a recess. This lowered area provides ground, which the hobs and other components are integrated within. The recess lowers the height of all internal appliances, which allows the glass lid to close without interference.

Piezo ignition

Cooking in your RV is way more convenient thanks to piezo ignition technology. To put it simply, Piezo ignition produces energy by striking a piezoelectric crystal. This action generates a spark which ignites the gas emitted from the hob!

Match-free ignition is built to last; the components within these ignitors are famed to last roughly 10 years. That’s much longer than the average life cycle of a disposable lighter, and far more environmentally conscious.

Tempered glass lid

CAN have finished this unique product with a tempered glass lid. It protects the appliances from accumulating dust, plus it looks incredibly flashy. The lid model features a single lid, for an overall more polished appearance out of use. Decorated with black tint, this glass lid is a cherry on top for the unit’s modern appearance!

Glass tempering uses controlled temperatures to adapt the materials’ molecular structure. Once glass is tempered, the material has been altered to improve its strength and durability. Tempered glass is far safer to use when compared with ordinary glass. In the unlikely event that the lid is damaged, tempered glass will shatter into blunt fragments, whereas annealed glass would scatter sharp and dangerous pieces through the area.

Constructed from quality stainless-steel

Stainless Steel is used all through the unit, tying all three appliances together. Cleaning and maintenance are thankfully very easy; stainless-steel is well famed for its resistance to permanent staining.

The steel surface is buffed to a satin finish, reinforcing the unit’s modern aesthetic. This material is wildly forgiving; can endure significant impact without shattering and its hygienic properties make for a quick and convenient clean-up.

Integrated thermocouple safety device

This device provides you with peace of mind and enhanced safety. When the device no longer detects a flame, it immediately cuts the supply of gas to the hob. This stops gas in its tracks and prevents it from leaking into your interior. An undetected gas leak could cause many problems, including carbon monoxide poisoning.

Soft-close hinges

The tempered glass lid is protected by soft-close hinges. The swivel post is appointed with increased resistance, which means even with significant pressure, their motion is slow. As a result, damage to the glass is prevented with an eversion to sudden impact. 

Compatible with additional tap

Aside the right-handed sink is a ready installed tap fitting, this sits in the centre of the farthest right edge, within the recess. The fitting area measures 2.7 cm in diameter and is designed to facilitate the optional fitting of a cold or mixer tap. If a faucet is required for your setup, a model with a hinged spout is required. This is so the glass lid cannot meet the tap when closed.

A perk of using a hinged tap is their flexibility; control the direction of flowing water with ease. Fixed faucets require a little help, especially for guiding sauce or crumbs towards the drain. Use your tap to manoeuvre dirt to the drain by moving the tap head; water flow should provide sufficient force and lift dirt from the sink without help!

Only use as directed

Don’t use the glass lid, as you would use an ordinary work surface. Avoid resting any objects on the lid, including hot pans and even ornaments. In addition, the lid should never be used as a work surface. Using the unit in ways which aren’t directed will likely lead to significant damage, including broken glass.

Use a Gas Safe Fitter

Please ensure this unit is fitted by a licensed professional. The CAN Randi hob/sink requires gas for a power source, so it’s important to have your appliance fitted by a Gas Safe registered engineer. This ensures your appliance is fitted by a well-practised professional with up-to-date qualifications. Should the unit be damaged while fitting, you’ll be covered!
