The curtains:

This pair of bespoke curtains fit the Renault Trafic and Vauxhall Vivaro from 2004 to 2014 with twin sliding doors or RHD. These curtains and rails are made to fit these specific vehicles, which means they provide an accurate fitment and will suit most conversions of these vans. We sell these as a pair, and they are supplied with pre-formed aluminium rails and all required fittings. There are many benefits to installing a pair of blackout curtains, especially to the side of your van. If you fit a set to both sides of your van, you can control what direction light enters your vehicle, this is especially helpful when you’re on-the-go.

The pre-bent tracks make our curtains an effective and time-saving choice. Most market competition require you to bend the track yourself. Curtains are the best solution to controlling how much light can enter your interior, whilst providing privacy and insulation. They are a resource required all year round with a variety of functions.

Jersey fabric:

These curtains are made of high-quality knitted jersey fabric. This heard wearing textile is ideal for this purpose as it gives the curtains longevity over competitor products. The material is ideal for curtains as the fabric hangs well once the curtains are installed which provides a pretty drape effect. Due to its high density, jersey fabric will lock in heat and insulate your vehicle. If you’re camping on those cold mornings, you’ll appreciate the comfort these provide. Jersey fabric is very opaque, so if you don’t want light to enter your vehicle in the morning, you will be left to enjoy your sleep with peace. In addition, the fabric conforms to the 95/28 EC standard, this means it’s been tested and approved for flame resistance. The material features a dual layer composition, the grey layer faces in and a black layer faces outward. We use a black layer to absorb light and heat from the sun which is transferred to your interior. The grey layer is slightly more elastic, which we chose in aid of a pleated effect. This is achieved when the material is stretched between the rails. The insulation effect works both ways; our curtains are also successful at preventing high heat entering the van during the summer. You may find our curtains to be noticeably more effective at blocking light than the average curtains on the market. Enjoy the comforting feel of curtains with a modern twist of minimalism. These stone-grey curtains are a neutral colour that will complement most van conversion interiors.

The Rails and Fittings:

All our curtains come with the pre-formed aluminium rails and all required fittings. This includes screws, end stops and gliders. To install the curtains, you use the pre fitted gliders which are sewn to the curtains – you are also provided with spares. These slip onto the rail and are secured by the end caps. It’s a simple installation process. The end caps prevent you from removing the curtains from the rail when you open them in the morning. The curtains will require being stretched quite firmly between the rails; this is what forms the pleated look.

You may find it useful to know:

Our curtains are supplied with pre-drilled and pre-formed rails and all necessary fittings. These make the fitting process simpler and quicker for the average fitter. We advise these are installed by professionals or conversion garages. Our curtains are a perfect fit for most custom conversions. Please Note: These curtains need to be stretched when fitting, which provides the pleated look.
