Fitting a set of blackout curtains to the rear side window of your Vito is an excellent investment, whether you’re looking to keep the dawn sunlight out while you’re camping, or you just want to keep prying eyes out when you’ve parked up. These curtains have been made bespoke to the nearside (left) rear side window on the Mercedes Vito, which means they’re quick and easy to fit, with no need for you to mess around trying to bend or cut the curtain rail.

At a glance:

• Made from top quality knitted jersey material, so they’re tough as well as soft,

• Black on the outside, facing the window, to absorb and block as much light as possible,

• Grey on the inside, facing into the vehicle, so they’ll match any interior,

• Suppled with pre-bent curtain rails, so they’re nice and easy to install,

• All the hooks, glides, eyelets, screws and end stops are included.

Fits the rear side window on the nearside (right) of the short wheelbase Mercedes Vito built from 2004 to 2014. Want to get curtains for the window opposite? See J43211.

The curtains:

Quick and easy to install, these curtains have been bespoke designed to perfectly fit the correct window on the correct vehicle. The curtain track is the correct size and shape for the window, and the material has been cut to the right dimensions for the window, too, so there won’t be any gaps or light leaking through. To make them even easier to install into your Vito, all of the screws are included, as well as the hooks, eyelets, gliders and end stops. All you’ll need is the tools, some free time and a nice tea!

The material:

Knitted jersey is an excellent material for blackout curtains, as the fibres are packed close together and block light from getting through. The fabric is also really hard-wearing, while still being soft. It also has a nice drape to it when it’s hung, so your curtains will look great! They’ll need to be stretched when you fit them, to give the curtains the pleated look. The fabric also conforms to the 95/28 EC standard, meaning that it’s been tested and approved for flame resistance.

The rails:

To make adding a set of curtains (or several sets, if you’ve got a full suite of windows) as easy as possible, we’ve made sure that you won’t have to grapple with the rails to make them fit.

• Pre-formed to the correct size and shape for the window they’re designed for,

• Do not require any bending, cutting or reshaping,

• Come with a full set of fitting screws, hooks, eyelets and gliders.
