Curtains for Front Sliding Door Window Offside (Right) Ford Transit Custom 2013 Onwards (Twin Sliding Doors or LHD)

Whether you’re after more privacy, better insulation or just don’t want to wake up at the crack of dawn, installing a set of blackout curtains in your Ford Transit Custom is an excellent move. These curtains have been bespoke designed for the sliding door window on the Transit Custom, which means they’ll fit perfectly and look great once they’re installed.

Fits the offside (right) sliding door window on left-hand drive Ford Transit Customs built from 2013 onwards. Also fits Transits with twin sliding doors. Please note that right-hand drive Ford Transits will have the sliding door on the nearside (left), so you’d need a different curtain set: J43183.

The curtains:

Bespoke designed to fit the window perfectly, these curtains are quick and easy to install, and will look great once you’ve finished the job. The curtain rails are already shaped and sized to fit the window, so you won’t have to mess about adjusting them. They also come with all the screws you’ll need to mount them inside your Transit.

The curtains themselves are also cut and sewn to fit perfectly, so there won’t be any gaps or spaces for sunlight to sneak in through and wake you up at dawn when you’re away in your camper! You’ll also get all of the hooks, sliders, end stops and other bits needed to hang the curtains – all you’ll need to install them is some spare time, the tools, and a cup of tea!

Fitting the curtains:

Please note that you’ll need to stretch these curtains while you’re fitting them, to ensure that they fill the window fully, and to give them the pleated look.

The material:

Made from high-quality knitted jersey, these curtains will make a real difference if your Ford Transit has been converted into a camper. The way that knitted jersey is made means that the fibres are closely packed, so light can’t sneak in.

There are two layers of knitted jersey, too, so the curtains will help insulate your van and keep the warmth in, rather than letting it seep out through the window glass. The curtains also have a really nice drape to them once they’re hung, so they’ll look great in your van. The neutral grey colour also means they won’t clash with your interior, no matter what it looks like. To get the pleated look, you'll need to stretch the curtains when you fit them. The fabric also conforms to the 95/28 EC standard, meaning that it’s been tested and approved for flame resistance.
