The curtains:

This bespoke pair of curtains will fit the left rear window on the Renault Trafic and Vauxhall Vivaro from 2004 to 2014 with a short wheelbase. The curtains are sold as a pair and are supplied to customers with all necessary fixings and fittings. There are benefits to installing a pair of blackout curtains to the rear side of your van. Consider using these curtains in cohesion with some rear door blackout curtains and block out the light from your bedroom. You shouldn’t need to get up early on holiday if you don’t want to!

Pre-bent tracks make our curtains an effective and time-saving method of controlling light. Most market competition require you to manipulate the track yourself. Curtains will last you many years, whilst providing privacy and insulation. They are a resource required all year round with a variety of functions. In addition, the neutral colour will be a timeless addition to your interior.

Jersey fabric:

Due to its high density, jersey fabric will lock in heat and insulate your vehicle. If you’re camping on those cold mornings, you’ll appreciate these curtains providing you comfort. This fabric also conforms to the 95/28 EC standard, this means it’s been tested and approved for flame resistance. These curtains are made from knitted jersey fabric. This heard wearing textile is ideal for curtains as it has longevity over competitor products. The material is ideal for curtains as the fabric sits well once the curtains are installed which provides a pretty drape effect. The curtains feature a dual layer composition; the grey layer faces in and a black layer faces outward. The black layer absorbs light and heat from the sun and this is transferred into your interior. The grey layer is slightly more elastic, which displays a pleated effect.

This is achieved when the material is stretched between the rails. Curtain insulation is achieved both ways; our curtains are also successful at preventing high heat from entering the van during the summertime. You may find our curtains to be noticeably more effective at blocking light than the average curtains on the market. Enjoy the comfort of curtains with a modern minimalistic twist. These stone-grey curtains are a neutral colour that will complement most van conversion interiors.

The Rails and Fittings:

All our curtains come with the pre-formed aluminium rails and all the fittings. This includes screws, end stops and gliders. To install these, you use the pre fitted gliders which are sewn into the curtain hem – you are also provided with spares. These slip onto the rail and are secured in by end caps. It’s a simple installation process. The end caps prevent you from removing the curtains from the rail when you open them in the morning. The curtains will require being stretched quite firmly between the rails; this is what forms the pleated look.

You may find it useful to know:

Our curtains are supplied with pre-drilled and pre-formed rails and all the fittings needed. This makes the fitting process simpler and quicker for the average fitter. We advise that curtains are installed by professionals or conversion garages to avoid costly mistakes. Our curtains are a perfect fit for most custom conversions. Please Note: These curtains need to be stretched when fitting, which provides the pleated look.
