These blackout curtains have been designed to perfectly fit the ‘barn door’ style double rear doors on your Ford Transit Custom. Whether you’re looking for privacy, insulation, or just want to sleep in past dawn while you’re camping, these curtains are ideal.

At a glance:

Fits the double rear doors on the Ford Transit Custom built from 2013 to 2019. If your Transit has a tailgate, not barn doors, you’ll need J43190.

The curtains:

Because they’re designed to perfectly conform to the size and shape of your double rear windows, they’re super easy to fit. You’ll be able to easily glide the curtains open and shut as you need, and can even tie them in place with the tiebacks attached to the fabric. The material for the curtains has been cut and sewn to the right dimensions for your window, too, so there won’t be any awkward gaps or light sneaking in through the edges if you’re trying to enjoy a lie-in while camping!

Fitting the curtains:

Please note that you’ll need to stretch these curtains while you’re fitting them, to ensure that they fill the window fully, and to give them the pleated look.

The material:

Made from high-quality knitted jersey, the curtains themselves are the perfect balance of light-weight and hard-wearing, soft and tough. The way that knitted jersey is made means that the fibres which make it up are packed densely together, so that light can’t get through and ruin your sleep. The double layer of material is also great at keeping warmth in your camper overnight. In addition, the fabric conforms to the 95/28 EC standard, this means it’s been tested and approved for flame resistance.

The rails:

The curtains are supplied with pre-bent aluminium rails, and all the fitting’s you’ll need to install them. This includes all of the screws to attach the curtain track to the inside of your van, and the hooks, glides, end caps and eyelets to fix the curtain to the rail.
