If your Rooflight cover has gotten dirty and requires cleaning, it’s important to use the correct products. Keep it simple; warm soap and water or a light cleaner and cloth should do the trick!
Avoid using the following products to clean your rooflight and cover:
- Strong detergents,
- Abrasive cleaners or sponges,
- Aggressive detergents,
- All-purpose cleaners,
- Dish washing detergent,
- Solvent based cleaners.
These harsh chemicals can seriously compromise the crystal-clear clarity of your cover. Using abrasive cleaners and tools will most likely result in dull marks and scratches and solvents will simply eat away at the material.

Please verify with a trusted dealer that this Rooflight Vent is suitable for your RV. The vehicle must be of sound strength, to allow an opening to be made in the roof. For example, you should not fit this vent to a vehicle with substantial rust damage or corrosion, on its roof. Fiamma cannot accept responsibility for damage to your vehicle, as a result of incorrect installation.

Not for use in very poor weather – Please ensure that you close the vent cover if you experience adverse weather.
Leaving the vent open during poor conditions, will not only allow the elements to enter your vehicle, but may also cause damage to the winch/hand wheel mechanism and adjoining components. If strong wind catches the open cover, force will be increased as it catches the entire surface, therefore any strong gust could cause damage to any pivoting components.
