Adding a tinted side window (or several) to your Crafter or Sprinter is an excellent choice. Specifically designed to fit to the middle side panel on the offside (right) of your van, the window is the perfect size and shape to offer you the most light and the best view, and also look great when it’s fitted to your van.

At a glance:

• The glass measures roughly 1416 mm by 766 mm, ideal for your Sprinter or Crafter,

• Simple to install, if you’ve got the tools, skills and confidence to do so,

• 33% light transparency, so you can let the light in and keep your privacy,

• This dark tint makes the glass unsuitable for use in taxis,

• A great step toward converting your van into a camper.

Installing your new tinted window

You can install one window, or several, into your vehicle by yourself, if you have the tools, experience and the confidence to do so. However, we do advise that windows are installed by a trained, experienced professional to avoid any errors being made. If you’re at all unsure of how to fit your new windows, it’s always best to have the glass fitted by a pro, who will be able to ensure that it’s done quickly, safely and securely. Watch our fitting guide video for information on DIY installation of window glass.

Make the job easier with a glass bonding kit

Whether you’re tackling the installation of these windows as a DIY project, or you’re getting an expert in to do the job, you’ll need a window bonding kit: J18126.

This optional fitting kit is available separately, and includes a tube of adhesive bonding agent, to fix the glass in place, the felt applicator to spread the adhesive to where you need it, as well as a cleaning sachet and bottle of glass primer, to get the windows prepped and ready to be installed.

It’s curtains

If you’ve gone to the trouble of fitting your Sprinter or Crafter out with a set of new windows, why not take the extra step and add some blackout curtains, too? Bespoke designed for the middle side window of your van, they’re a great way to keep in warmth, and block dawn sunlight and prying eyes from your camper! Offside (right): J44287, Nearside (left): J44295.
