Only use as directed – Don’t use the glass lid, as you would use an ordinary work surface. Avoid resting any objects on the lid, including hot pans and ornaments. In addition, the lid should never be used as a work surface. Using the unit in ways which aren’t directed will likely lead to significant damage, including broken glass.
Use a Gas Safe Fitter – Please ensure this unit is fitted by a licensed professional. The CAN Hoodiny Hob requires gas for a power source, so it’s important to have your appliance fitted by a Gas Safe registered engineer. This ensures your appliance is fitted by a well-practised professional with up-to-date qualifications. Should the unit be damaged while fitting, you’ll be covered!
Gas safety advice – For interior appliances which run off a gas supply, it’s recommended the cylinder is kept inside a gas locker. It’s also good practise to fit a carbon monoxide detector within close distance of your cylinder.
