Only use as directed
Don’t use the glass lid as you would use an ordinary work surface. Avoid resting any objects on the lid, including hot pans and ornaments. In addition, the lid should never be used as a work surface. Using the unit in ways which aren’t directed will likely lead to significant damage, including broken glass.
